Savi to develop RFID tracking for cargo containers

Savi Technology Inc. of Sunnyvale and Hutchison Port Holdings of Hong Kong have invested $50 million to create a new company, Savi Networks LLC to install radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in seaports around the world.
